Get the client
Install the edition appropriate for your device.

Connect
Work through these in order.

Connect to Tailscale
Install Tailscale on the device itself, or use a supported subnet-routing setup.

Add the server
Choose Multiplayer, Add Server, and enter:

Use the correct port
Java uses 25565. Bedrock uses 19132. Leave the Java port blank if the client accepts the default.

Join the world
Sign in with the normal Minecraft account and select the saved RealmForge entry.

Before you go
- Console editions may not allow arbitrary private servers without extra network setup.
- If the server shows offline, confirm Tailscale first; a successful Internet connection alone is not enough.
